Research On The Bronze Culture Of The Shang Dynasty In The Middle Reaches Of The Yangtze River

The middle reaches of the Yangtze River is most close to The Central Plains, it's Shang dynasty bronze culture be deeply influenced by Central Plain bronze culture, in the same time, it is the important part of Southern bronze culture. It makes Shang dynasty bronze culture of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River both have deep Central Plains culture tint and special culture intension belong itself. It not only has some difference with the Central Plain, but also has similarities and differences between three provinces.Bronze is the representative factor of bronze culture, this paper try to make Dayangzhou bronze as cutting point, through the compare with the bronze of Hubei, Jiangxi and Hunan, gradually expose the correlation of three provinces Shang dynasty bronze culture. The main content of this paper can be dividing into five chapters.The first chapter is preface. It simple introduce the geography conditions and history of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, arrange and summarize the research history and study status of the Shang dynasty bronze culture among The middle reaches of the Yangtze River, then point out the meaning, study aims and method of this paper.The second chapter is the typology research of Dayangzhou bronze. Base on the typology study, division it into three periods. Judged the age of the Dayangzhou bronze from upper Erligang to middle of Yin Ruins, This is the base of whole paper.The third chapter is the decoration and combination of the Dayangzhou bronze. Make typology analyze of decoration, can know the regular and characteristic of its develop. To analyze the combination, compare with the Central Plains, get the conclusion that combination of Dayangzhou bronze has the characteristic which attach importance to cooking vessels but belittle drinking vessels, it prove Wucheng culture has independent etiquette system, it is a independent local culture. This chapter is an extend of Dayangzhou bronze.The fourth chapter is the relationship of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River Shang dynasty bronze culture. Firstly, analyze the culture factor of Dayangzhou bronze, research the culture interflow with the Central plain and surrounding region, to derivation the relationship between Dayangzhou and surrounding region bronze culture. So we can get some information that, the interflow between Dayangzhou and the Central plains are two-way, the early time is Central Plains influence Dayangzhou, the late time is Dayangzhou influence Central Plain. Three provinces of the middle Yangtze River not only have close relations but also developing independently.The last chapter is the conclusion. Summarize the main point of whole paper, and point out shortcoming.
