Middle school period is an important transition period of human growth and development,teens during puberty are in the stage of rapid development of body and mind.At this stage,it is easy to have a variety of mental health problems and behavior problems for individuals as their emotions are full of ups and downs.Positive psychological capital refers to a positive psychological state which is manifested in the process of individuals'growth and development,and the positive psychological accords with positive organizational behavior standard.It shows concretely in the following four aspects,self-efficacy,hope,optimism and resilience.Moreover,in recent years,emotional regulation strategies has become a hot spot in emotion research field.The relationship between emotion and behavior has been paid close attention by scholars both at home and abroad as well.A large number of domestic and foreign research shows that emotion regulation is an important factor which affects aggressivity.In previous studies,there were few direct studies on the positive psychological capital and emotion regulation strategies of middle school students.The purpose of this research is to find the relationship of positive mental capital and aggressive behaviors from the view of positive mental philosophy.It puts particular emphasis on studying the mediation function of emotional regulation strategies.The condition of 552 middle school students' positive psychological capital,emotional regulation strategy and aggressive behaviors were investigated by form of questionnaire.And we study the relations between the three through the methods of description analysis,variance analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and mediating effect analysis.The research concludes as follows:1.Middle school students have a high level of positive psychological capital generally.There are significant differences in gender,grade,academic performance,family economic situation,parental relationship,parental rearing patterns and whether as a class cadre.2.Middle school students have a high overall level of emotion regulation strategies.There are significant differences in gender,grade,academic performance,family economic situation,parental relationship,parental rearing patterns and whether as a class cadre.3.The middle school students,gaining higher scorces in hostility trait of aggressive behaviors,has physical aggression,anger and verbal attack.There are significant differences in gender,grade,academic performance,family economic situation,parental relationship,parental rearing patterns and whether as a class cadre.4.Significant relation exists between positive psychological capital,emotion regulation strategies and aggressive behaviors.5.Emotion regulation strategies play a mediating role between positive psychological capital and aggressive behaviors.
