Middle school stage is an important period of transition of personal development,this period is prone to cause various psychological problems.Positive psychological capital refers to the positive mental state which individuals can develop.Individuals with high level of positive psychological capital have higher level of psychological health.Emotional intelligence is a series of emotional,personality and interpersonal abilities that affects people to cope with environmental needs and pressures.It directly affects the psychological health of the whole people.Adaptation refers to the response status of psychological and behavior caused by the external environment and the physical and mental changes.Only individuals with good adaptation ability can develop healthily.The subjects were from 420 high school students in a middle school in Tianjin.This research explored the relationship among positive psychological capital,emotional intelligence and adaptation,and proposed some education suggestions.The results showed that:(1)Middle school students have comparatively high positive psychological capital.There are significant differences in the aspect of the educational level of father and mother.There are no significant differences in the aspect of grade or whether the only child.Different gender shows significant difference in the aspect of tenacity.(2)Middle school students have comparatively high emotional intelligence.There are significant differences in the aspect of gender or the educational level of mother.There are no significant differences in the aspect of whether the only child or the educational level of father.Different grades show significant difference in the aspect of the emotion perception.(3)There are significant positive correlation among middle school students' positive psychological capital,emotional intelligence and adaptation.(4)Emotional intelligence plays part of role in the positive psychological capital and adaptation.The intermediary effect accounts for 37%of the total ratio.
