The literary criticism of the Chuci from its political interpretation of the Han Dynasty to gradually pay more attention to its original text.To explore the folk,witchcraft and rituals content in it as early as Scholars of the Ming and Qing dynasties such as Wang Yuan and Dai Zhen;In the Republic China period,Liang Qichao,Wen Yiduo and other intellectuals were very consciously to take advantage of Western theory to explain the Chuci,while focusing on the text exegesis and textual research tradition;Since the founding of new China,many academic scholars as Jiang Liangfu and Tang Bingzheng do their research with anthropology and folklore knowledge.As for the study witchcraft rituals of the Chuci,Chinese and foreign researchers have accumulated some achievements since the 20 th century.The research object of this paper is the Qu Yuan's twenty-five poems in Chuci,which emphasizes on the witch culture background of his poems,and the consistency between his poems “Li Sao”,“Tian Wen”,“Nine Songs” and “Zhao Hun” and rituals recorded in the biblical documents and the unearthed Bamboo Silk in Chu tombs such as prayer,divination,sacrifice and evocation.Furthermore,observe the common witchcraft belief behind those rituals in poems,and study the rational spirit of Qu Yuan as an individual intellectual in the Warring States period.The full text contains three parts.The first part is the introduction,which reviews the research results since the Han Dynasty.And introduces the current situation in the study of Chuci's ritual archetype.The second part is the text,a total of three chapters.The first chapter explains the compilation and the spread of Chuci in Han Dynasty,and the witchcraft traditions that can be traced back to Shang Dynasty,and explains the culture exchanges between the Chu and the Central Plains in the pre Qin Period.The second chapter mainly draws on the previous research findings and compares the poems' details with the unearthed documents in Chu and some folk anthropological materials.The third chapter concentrates on the witchcraft thought and the soul concept which as the common cultural memory of the early society,to explores the Origin of the “Soul travel” plot image of the poet.The third part is the conclusion,briefly summarizes the content of the article,summed up the full text of the point of view.Through the discussion of the rituals in Chuci,to understand the stylistic structure of Chuci,and from the perspective of the ritual program,the ideological pluralism of the poems is excavated.
