The Hermeneutic Approach To Gadamer's Practical Philosophy

Gadamer is one of the most outstanding philosophers in contemporary philosophy.He established philosophical hermeneutic theory in his "Truth and Methodology".He not only realized and revanced the tradition of the unity of ancient Greek practice and theory,but also analyzed the scientific rationality from the practical hermeneutics based on the emphasis on understanding and interpreting the application.It can be said that from Gadamer,philosophy played its role in a new form.Philosophy is not only the discussion of the world,but also the practice to guide people,to express the fate of mankind.The main purpose of this paper is as follows:First,to Gadamer’s philosophy of practice as the starting point,to study how Gadamer through the creation of philosophical hermeneutics to inherit,revive ancient Greece,especially Aristotle practice and theory of unity.The second is to clarify whether Gadamer’s philosophy of practice is presented and applied through his explanations.Finally is to analyze what the theoretical characteristics of Gadamer’s "Practical Hermeneutics" are.
