Exploring The Practical Philosophy Of Gadamer's Philosophical Hermeneutics From The "Reason In The Age Of Science"

As the founder of philosophical hermeneutics,Gadamer played an important role in the history of western philosophy.The advent of his book Truth and method was the symbol of his philosophical hermeneutics came into being,whichlays the foundation for the development of western philosophy.With the development of social science and technology,the gradual decline of phronesis and the replacement of phronesis by technology rationality,Gadamer realized the root of this social problem.In order to solve this series of social problems,Gadamer published his book Reason in the Age of Science in his later years,which based on the phronesis,exploring the hermeneutic thought as a practical philosophy.On the basis of philosophical hermeneutics,practical philosophy has been developed,the practical philosophy of philosophical hermeneutics has been realized,and the integration of practical philosophy and hermeneutics has been completed.This paper is mainly based on the Reason in the Age of Science,sorts out the formation and evolution of Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics thought,expounds the reasons for Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics going to practical philosophy,and probes into the theoretical origin of Gadamer's practical philosophy and the main contents of his practical philosophy.Gadamer critically inherited the practical philosophy of Aristotle,Kant and Hagel.By analyzing Aristotle's concept of practical wisdom,pure science and technology,he emphasized the importance of restoring the philosophy of practice and took practical problems as the condition of social rational problems,the integration of Hermeneutics and practical philosophy is realized.At the end of this paper,it introduces the influence of the hermeneutics as the philosophy of practice on the modern human life and explores its contemporary practical significance.
