Jiang Wen has directed five movies,they are In The Heat Of The Sun,Devils On The Doorstep,The Sun Alao Raises,Let The Bullets Fly,Gone With The Bullets.There are five different kinds of materials and styles in Jiang Wen's five movies,it can be youth story with a bright color,or can be serious interrogation of humanity,or can be fantastic dream of reality,or can be absurd lengend of the Republic of China,or can be extremely luxury mystery of history.There are some same things in Jiang Wen's movies.Jiang Wen cares about history,reality and humanity and he puts his concern in his movies.There are four moives adapted from novels.Jiang Wen uses approximant methods to adapt novels and uses eccentric methods to express his own thoughts.Through using these methods Jiang Wen puts distinct marks in his movies.In this thesis I will regard Jiang Wen's movies as the object of the research for the formation of Jiang Wen's eccentric style and the representation of the eccentric style.The thesis includes five parts.The first chapter is an introduction of Jiang Wen's movies,Jiang Wen's achievements,research status of these movies and research methods to study Jiang Wen's films.In the second part,it analyze Jiang Wen's personal experience and his distinct art attitudes to find the formation of Jiang Wen's movies' artistic style.In the third part,through analysis of the novels I will find Jiang Wen's movies unusual materials.In the fourth part,it analyze Jiang Wen's movies' strategy of adaption.The fifth part is analysis of Jiang Wen's movies' audio-visual language.It analyze how Jiang Wen expresses himself.From the analysis I will find the method of Jiang Wen's expression.In the conclusion,I will summarize the method that workers in film industries can study from Jiang Wen.
