Personal Micor Film Researches Under The Circumstances Of "We Media"

Personal micro film, as a brand new way of personal expression method in the internet environment, provides a new form of film, which is remarkably different from what we see before in aspects like aesthetic characteristics,film consumption, presentation, etc.Five chapters will be included in this paper to discuss personal micro film researches under the circumstances of “We Media”. The first chapter is an introduction. In the second chapter, micro films will be reclassified and summarized on the basis of previous related researches. Then the new micro film form—personal micro film—will be defined. Based on the second chapter, the third chapter will discuss the consumption pattern and theoretical and material foundation of personal micro film. The fourth chapter will start from aesthetic category and compare personal micro films with previous forms of films. The fifth chapter will talk about the significance of personal micro film to personal expression in “We Media”.This paper believes that although personal micro film belongs to the category of micro film, it is different from all previous film forms. First, its consumption pattern is a new experiential economic consumption in human society. Second, its art concept originates from that of post-modernist art, namely art of living and living of art.(Preceding theories of films believe that art comes from life and goes beyond it;therefore films are usually required to impose experience and feelings that are different than life on the audience.) Finally, no art form can exist out of material. As a subcategory of film, personal micro film is generated and promoted by the reformation of motion picture technique. Meanwhile, new aesthetic characteristics have grown in its narrative structure, narrative content and images.
