The Image Motif And Schema Study Of "Marriage Map"

This paper is beginning with the questions and controversies of the anonymous painting,"The wedding in the village",of Yuan dynasty in the Imperial Palace Museum.On the other hand,study and analyze the other four pictures from the same motif,Shen Zongqian's "The wedding of Miao" in the Qing Dynasty which is collected in the Museum of Hebei Province,"The wedding of Zhuchen" in he Song Dynasty,two pieces of pictures named "The wedding in the Qing dynasty" in the National Museum of China.What is a pity is that there were no experts paid attention to these pictures before.Therefore,this paper analyzes the changes of the schema of these pictures from the same motif in the way of Iconography,Ethnology,Stylistics and philology.Looking for the meaning of the motif and the times it appears.Making a deep interpretation of the changes in names and the selection and variation of motif images through the analysis of the relationship between the images of the four paintings,and then tracks the hidden meaning behind it.
