The digging era of stone statues in Sichuan can be traced earliest back to the Han Dynasty, not noly the amount of stone statues is large, the distribution is widely , but also the connotation is rich. There are quite centralized stone statues resources in more than fifty counties of Sichuan province , mostly has gathered in existing ,such as in An yue, Bazhong and Penshan county,especially in Anyue, Anyue as"the hometown of stone carvings " named.Although minority Stone carvings tourist area in Sichuan started earlier, and the exploitation is very profundy , most stone carvings tourism resources still can not be developed deeply. This paper analysis typically three different types of stone carvings tourist area in sichuan as case, and discuss development strategy of the different types of stone carvings tourist area.This paper can be divided into the following several parts:In the first part,we will discuss the theory and method of tourism resource development research, including defining concepts,summarizing the research achievements of the past.In the second part ,we will analysis the current problems and reasons of development of Stone carvings tourist area , providing the basis for researching the practica development measures . In the third part , we wil discuss how to protect stone resources tourist reasonablely, and research development direction and the development strategies of stone tourism resources ,by means of listing cases,from the Angle of tourism demand, , under the condition of different locations and different culturesIn the fourth part ,we will summarize this paper , and vistaa the research prospect .
