The Implicit Characteristics Of Emotional Adjustment And Recovery Of Good Personality Traitors

The personality significantly influence people’s emotions.It’s closely linked with people’s development,adaptive and physical and emotional health.Currently,about personality traits are more concentrated in the areas of western culture value system,but so few about different culture value system.This study will analysis the emotion regulation and recovery characteristics of the personality traits of kindness with China-specific cultural value systems,to explore the relationship between the location of personality and emotion.Aimed at investigating the emotional dynamic response and adjustment characteristics in the face of negative emotions between the high and low kindness in interpersonal relations,discussing the impact of the kindness upon interpersonal relationship,as well as difference characteristics between high and low kindness about implicit attitude to emotion regulation,emotion regulation and recovery.Therefore,on the basis of relevant theoretical and empirical studies of personality and emotion regulation,using questionnaire and laboratory study,designed three experiments.Firstly,each 30 subjects who meet the criteria of high and low personality characteristics of Kindness were selected by the Chinese Personality Scale(QZPS)from 478 college students.Study 1,using emotion Stroop paradigm to study implicit characteristics which high and low level of the Kindness students upon emotional relationships adjective(positive and negative).Study 2,using ER-IAT to explore the implicit attitude difference of emotion regulation between high and low level of the personality of kindness.Study 3,Using visual search for Faces with Emotional Expressions task to detect their implicit emotion regulation features under the condition of inducing negative emotions,and explore the emotional dynamic responses in the process of the experiment in the three stages: emotional baseline period,emotions induced period,emotional regulation and recovery period.The results of the three research show:(1)The kind of personality dimensions and interpersonal traits dimension have the significant correlation,and the high kindness scores significantly greater than the low kindness in interpersonal dimension.(2)Between high and low personality traits of kindness have significant differences upon attention bias of emotional interpersonal adjectives,the high kindness showed positive attention to emotional interpersonal adjectives.(3)Between high and low personality traits of kindness have significant differences upon emotional regulation implicit attitude,the high kindness are more inclined to positiveattitude,the low kindness are more inclined to negative attitude.(4)Response for recognising a happy face among angry faces,and among neutral faces of high kindness subjects were all significantly faster than low kindness,namely,the high personality traits of kindness with high ability of emotion regulation.(5)At visual search for Faces with Emotional Expressions task stage,the high kindness subjects’ implicit positive emotion significantly increased,explicit negative emotion significantly reduced,and negative emotion recovery better.
