The Revision Of The Dangerous Driving Behavior Scale And Its Relationship With Driving Safety Attitudes

This paper is based on the dangerous driving behavior diagram from the China driver group and comes into being the Chinese revised version of dangerous driving behavior diagram,which is used for classifying the dangerous driving behavior in China,shows the dangerous driving behavior situation in China,And to study the relationship between the dangerous driving behavior and the attitude about safety.Study 1: Revision of dangerous driving behavior diagramIt is about 500 dangerous driving behaviors collected online,which were selected from all parts of the country with a total of 432 valid questionnaires:(1)the revised diagram includes 18 items,which are defined three dimension divided into overconfidence,speeding,breaking the rules.(2)Version of dangerous driving behavior diagram in China was 0.93 in internal consistency coefficient,the coefficient of internal consistency of each dimension is above 0.85.The total scores of each dimension and the correlation coefficient is in 0.66 ~ 0.91,p< 0.001,which indicates that the scale has good content validity.Confirmatory factor analysis shows that the revised version,the scale model fitting degree and structure validity are matched well.Study 2: Researching the relationship between dangerous driving behavior and safety attitudeA total of 231 dangerous driving behavior diagram and safety attitude scale are collected through the combination of online and offline random household survey,and the answers are 212:(1)Age is a strong predictor of overconfidence and violate rules;gender is a good predictor of overconfidence;education level is a strong predictor of speeding.(2)Driving attitude,attitude in violate regulations on the driving speed in themselves,careless attitude,drunk driving attitude,significant influence on overconfidence have an strong effect on their own attitude;breaking the speed regulation,focusing on others careless attitude,have an serious effect on speeding;attitude in breaking speed regulation,the driver's careless attitude to others,attitude for drunk driving and breaking rules have a significant effect on each other.(3)The main effect about various demographic factors and different driving attitude factors can explain 47.1% in overconfidence dimension,53.1% in speeding dimensions,63.7% in rules-breaking dimension.In summary,the dangerous driving behavior in summary has high reliability and validity,which can be used as an effective tool to measure the driver's dangerous behavior,especially in China.
