American Marvel Film Research

From the initial collaboration with other companies to produce films,to the launch of the first masters works,"Iron Man",Marvel Studios experienced a lot of twists and turns.From 2008 to the present,Marvel Studios has totally released 13 works.What’s more,Marvel studios has built his own Marvel Cinematic Universe and raised a wave of cinema craze around the world.By virtue of its huge investment,superb shooting skills and smooth visual effect,Marvel studios has created a lots of classical hero images.The marvel movie has become a unique type of film,the social and cultural phenomenon caused by the marvel movie,and the American cultural values contained in the marvel movie have caused a huge impact around the world.Therefore,It not only is representative,but also has practical significance to study the Marvel films.The Spider Man series,X-Men series and Marvel Universe series are selected as the research object.What’s more,those movies will be analyzed from the perspective of character,narrative method and culture,and so on.Through analysis and comparison,this paper expounds the characteristics of the American film and the American cultural values.What’s more,it will make a consideration on the current situation Chinese contemporary film.From the perspective of structure,,this paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.In this chapter,the relevant literature will be classified,and the purpose,significance and innovation of this study will be expounded.The second chapter is a brief introduction of the marvel movie.This chapter discusses the development process of the marvel movie.What’s more,the marvel movie is divided into three stages in this chapter.And the characteristics of each stage and the development background of will be discussed.In the third chapter,the main charactersof the film will be analyzed from the perspective of semiotics,such as captain,Thor,spider man and so on.The fourth chapter will analyze the narrative strategy of the film.The first section analyzes the plot of the film from the perspective of conflict,and the second section analyzes the narrative style of the film.In the fifth chapter,the cultural factors of Marvel film will be discussed.The sixth chapter will make a consideration on the success of Marvel film.in the former three sections,I will analyze the reasons of Marvel films’ success from the perspective of audience psychology,eggs and cultural.In the fourth section,I will make analysis on the development status of the domestic film from the perspective of culture.
