The translation text is selected from the research report of The World Travel&Tourism Council(WTTC)official website,entitled Governing National Tourism Policy.The text content mainly focuses on the role of governments in tourism policy development and aims to promote the development of the tourism industry.The text feature of this translation text is of strong logicality,conciseness and cohesion.During the process of translation,the translation method of demonstratives is summarized.With the use of extraposition structure,it's easier to translate sentences with difficult words,inversion and parenthesis structure.In order to make target translation more coherent and coordinated,amplification is used in three aspects,which are vocabulary amplification,amplification for logic and semantic amplification.During the process of translation of the text,the author's translation ability and the capability to solve translation problems have been improved.In addition,the translation methods and techniques summarized by the author can help to solve similar translation problems and to push forward the further researches.
