By taking translation workshops research from at home and abroad as references,the thesis explores pedagogical models of translation workshops by combining constructivism,learning theories and MTI education as well as tests the workability of translation teaching model design by teaching experiments in a semester.Academic circles and educational circles on this topic had research,but research achieved limited results and asked for further exploration.The author designed an experiment lasting for16 weeks was carried out among 42 fresh graduate students,who majored in English written translation.Based on the analysis of the data collected for the teaching experiment,the two hypotheses proposed in the thesis are verified.The empirical results show that the pedagogical model of translation workshops in MTI has actual effect.It can stimulate the students' translating interest as well as promote their translating ability.Due to various reasons and limits,the thesis is by no means perfect and open to future improvement.
