Flow refers to a state when the individual involves in an activity and fully integrates,so highly focuses on the activity and feels enjoyment, enjoys its inner pleasure.and this positive emotional experience, also called as " flow experience",even when there is no external incentive or substance rewards, individuals are also happy to repeat the behavior to maintain this experience.Domestic and foreign scholars have studied the flow from the fields of computer network application, learning, sports, work and artistic creation. The relationship between flow and learning is a very attractive research topic. This research is often combined with the network learning situation, and some researchers have achieved good results in this field.Researchers believe that in theory the birth conditions of the flow include: clear goals, timely and clear feedback, the appropriate skills to meet the challenges, however, few studies explore the birth conditions and mechanisms of flow from the perspective of empirical study. In this study, the factors influencing the flow will be discussed by using the task complexity, balance of difficulty and skill, goal set and feedback type as independent variables and flow as the dependent variable. The study is divided into five parts:The first part is the literature review, the concept of flow, the development history, the research field, the measurement of flow and its related application research, and the problems of this study.firstly, the choice of experimental materials, the final selection of Raven reasoning test in three complex(high, medium and low)reasoning title of the 20 questions. Then,to explore the relationship between task complexity and difficulty and skill balance and t flow.Using experiment method,193 college students are experimented with 3x3 between-subjects design. The results show that college students' flow experience is affected by the balance of task complexity,The balance of difficulty and skill.task complexity, difficulty and skill have significant main and effective effect to flow. Finally,to explore the relationship between goal set and feedback type with flow, and use experimental method,extract61 students to conduct 2x2 between-subjects experiment. The results show that college students' flow experience is influenced by goal set and feedback type. The main and interaction effect of goal set and feedback on college students' flow issignificant. In the third part, the EEG experiment with the effect of task complexity on flow was designed.Eighteen subjects were selected to record their EEG activities during the three different complexity tasks.Repeated measurements of variance were used to analyze EEG results. The results showed that the lower the difficulty of the task, the higher the flow score. For the high-frequency a-wave synchronization results, the study found that the main effect of experimental task complexity is not significant. In the study results, there was a marginal significant effect of the brain region, the interaction between the brain region and the cerebral hemisphere. In the low frequency band, the main effect of the task complexity was not significant, and the main effect of the brain area was significant. The level of a wave synchronization in the prefrontal lobe, occipital lobe and parietal lobe was higher. The interaction between complexity in task and brain area is significant. For the interaction between the two, further analysis of the simple effect shows that in the low difficulty and moderate difficulty task, the prefrontal synchronization level is higher. The fourth part is a comprehensive discussion. On the basis of the previous research, combined with the research results of this study,we discuss the conditions of college students' flow. The fifth part is conclusion and prospect.Summarize and reflect the whole study, and look forward to development of the future research.
