Tomb of The Duke of Haihun is one of the largest and well-preserved Han Dynasty Tombs.The excavation from this tomb renders unmeasurable artistic research value as a indispensable component of the Chinese sculpture history.In the current phase,the evacuation has presented fruitful progress that explored large amount of bronze wares,jade and other antiques,among which there are several pieces of refined sculptures.However,the research on the sculptures from Tomb of the Duke of Haihun remains focused on the perspective of Evidence of history and pictorial compilation.By virtue of Antique Catalogue and historical Materials research,the author endeavors to implement a thorough aesthetic analysis of the Sculpture of Haihun Tomb and vision of the interdisciplinary development of Sculpture,through which the tentative discussion on the predicament on the present tomb sculpture research and the methodology to apply to sculpture practice and interdisciplinary research between Archeology and Sculpture in the way to transform the historic resources into more diversified social asset.
