This article studies the famous British contemporary artist Hurvin Anderson.In his works through his description of the natural landscape and social landscape to explain his understanding of cultural identity and social memory in his mind.In Anderson's creative process,the most prominent feature is that he will be the picture of the concrete landscape with a layer of "patterning" painting elements to cover.This paper attempts to explain how it works effectively on the screen by analyzing the elements of this "patterned" painting element,and how to find it in this seemingly contradictory painting Appropriate description of the program.And thus a reasonable explanation of this layer of "patterned" the existence of painting elements and its rationality,but also in the aesthetic level can be established.In the first chapter,the author analyzes the causes of "patterning" through the analysis of the basic landscape.The second chapter explains the meaning of "pattern" by explaining the meaning of "patterning".In the third chapter,The emergence of the elements of the painting;the resulting four chapters and the fifth chapter on the "pattern" for the artist's deep impact,as well as the painting element itself is a few layers of meaning.Finally,this paper attempts to sort out the value of Hurvin Anderson's paintings by this analysis.
