Practical Research On The Impact Of Experiential Theme Classes On The Mental Health Of Secondary Vocational Students

The research takes 95 students who are the first-year student recruiting class of secondary vocational school as the study subject to design an experiential theme class meetings which can improve their mental health condition.The class meeting mainly includes five themes : new students adapt self-growth interpersonal communication gratitude education and career planning.The students' mental health will be interfered by such kind of class meeting.Experiment design was tested forward and backward by experimental group and control group. SCL-90was taken as quantitative tool to collect and reorganize class qualitative data. The variation of the subjects was compared at the beginning and the end. The impact of the intervention which was put on the secondary vocational school students was examined from three aspects of quantification data and interviews and case studies data. The conclusion was below: experiential theme class meetings can effectively improve the level of the secondary vocational school students' mental health.Concrete expression were below:First, before the intervention, there are some mental problems exist with the secondary vocational school students, mainly at interpersonal relationship of sensitivity, anxiety, hostility and horror.Second, after the intervention, The research results after the intervention:Through the quantitative research between experimental group and control group and the qualitative research of the students' interview data, it concludes that the level of the secondary vocational students' mental health can be effectively improved with the experiential theme class meetings.Third, results of follow-up studies, after six months of follow-up study showed that the experiential theme class meeting will promote the development of mental health of Vocational students.
