Discussed in the paper, two pieces of Ming dynasty stone inscription for the"Nanjing Dongcheng Dredge Canals Tablet" and "The Chinese Authorities Officer to Flare Apparatus Note monument", is now in Nanjing in south of Wulong bridge (???)."Nanjing Dongcheng Dredge Canals Tablet" recorded a process of Dongcheng river canal dredging in Nanjing in the Ming dynasty. The existing research results related to the inscription on read and other aspects, there is a deviation, "dang" word,which means mud in water, in "Nanjing Dongcheng Dredge Canals Tablet" is generally believed as the word "north" by mistake.
