Mo Yan Received The Nobel Prize For Literature For Acceptance Studies

19pm,11 October,2012(Beijing time),the Swedish Academy announced that the Nobel Prize in Literature 2012 was awarded to the Chinese Mo Yan.Press all over the world have expressed different views relating this piece of news.In China,"Mo Yan fever" has aroused heated discussion not only in literature but also in other fields.The study of Mo Yan entered a research peak since he won the Nobel Prize.But in the past,domestic researchers tend to focus on Mo's works,while researches on the "reader" of his works are not adequate.The author of this paper will analyze the acceptance of Mo Yan and his works after 2012 when he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature by four groups: the authorities,the readers,the writers and the researchers.In the first chapter,the author takes the authorities as a research subject to investigate their attitude and response toward the Nobel laureate and his works.At the same time,this paper investigates how the authorities guided contemporary literature creation,criticism and dissemination through the online media,newspapers,magazines and so on,with focuses on the attitude,evaluation and guide of the authorities on Nobel prize effect.The second chapter takes the "common reader" as the research subject.It makes an in-depth analysis of the response of the ordinary readers with questionnaires.This chapter also examines the changes of netizens` attitudes and emotions,with focus on debates and social phenomena relating to readers since Mo`s winning of Nobel prize.In the third chapter,the author of this paper investigated writers by sending questionnaire to thirty of them to see their attitude and evaluation of Mo Yan and his Nobel prize in literature.This paper also gathered data from the Internet over debates over problems since Mo`s winning of Nobel prize.The fourth chapter studied literature researchers` reaction by sending questionnaires to thirty critics and gathering data from their personal micro-blog,journals and interviews,with focus on their attitudes and several debates between them over Mo`s winning of Nobel prize.This conclusion is mainly about reaction analysis the four groups,with purpose on researching the contemporary mental status,literature outlook of different groups and the evaluation of Mo Yan and contemporary literature.Appendix are questionnaire analysis of different groups,data including letters and dialogues on the micro-blog,with aim of enriching data for analysis.In this paper,the main research methods are questionnaire survey,literature review,chart analysis,logical reasoning.On the one hand,they will help us in detailed analysis of different types Mo Yan`s readers.Meanwhile,we can have an objective and specific analysis of the reasons for this situation and understand that the various participation mechanism and discourse power operation behind Mo Yan 's works.On the other hand,this paper will show the value and significance of contemporary people,broaden the scope of Mo Yan studies and the reader factors hidden behind the reception psychology through the acceptance of Mo Yan's novels.At the same time,this paper will show contemporary "marginalized" neglected individual experience which may embody the spirit of the times and leave people with a better understanding of the contemporary Chinese literature,which can open up a new dimension and space for the interpretation of literary history research.Through the investigation and study on the official,ordinary readers,professional writers,professional researchers in four subjects,the writer found that Mo Yan,as the winner of 2012 Nobel prize for literature,has been generally accepted by Chinese domestic readers in of spite of some controversy.At the same time,the four subjects' different opinions also show that,for one thing,the tie between literature and politics is less close over thirty years since the reform and opening up,for the other,it is contributed to the Chinese and even the world literature.In short,the ordinary readers' opinion in heat phenomenon of Mo Yan shows that the present Chinese the changes of reader's aesthetic view and values.The professional writers and professional researchers' different responses indicate that it will have a new breakthrough in re-estimate the value of contemporary literature.
