Both in Taiwan province and China mainland,nature writing was stared in the80's 20 th century.Although the title of it are different from each other,and their creations have various focuses,but they all showed their own concerns about living homeland,under the background of globalization.The beginning and evolution of Taiwan nature writing is closely concerned with the world's ecological trend,the writers absorbed enough nutrients from the western ecological theories and masterpieces,and they formed their own style based on Taiwan which have made considerable progress already.This thesis tries to explore the localization process of nature writing in Taiwan,from it's source,change of name,intrinsic ethical,representative writers and so on.This thesis is mainly consisted of three parts by introduction,text and conclusion.The conclusion summarized the general development situation and the research status of Taiwan nature writing nowadays.The text has four chapters.Chapter one introduce the long history of nature writing as a specific literary genre,and comb its definition situation after it has been bring in Taiwan.In the meantime,this chapter strictly define the scope of “Taiwan nature writing” which this thesis mentioned.Chapter two focus on the evolution of nature writing in Taiwan,observe the development structure since the 70's 20 th century in two aspects of its named and form.According to these differences,this chapter distinguish the “Nature Writing” in Taiwan and the “Ecological Literature” in China mainland.Chapter three analysis the change of Taiwan nature writing's inner ecological ethics from shallow ecology into deep ecology.Depends on the specific texts,recognize its deep structure's transformation from shallow to deep,rational to intellectual.Chapter four introduce five distinctive writers: Xu Renxiu,Liu kexiang,Hong suli,Ling Fu and Wu Mingyi.They are representative of the own nature writing fields,through the analysis of their words,we can observe the direction and trend in the future of Taiwan nature writing.The conclusion combed with the experience of Taiwan nature writing,to providethe references and enlightens for the development of both environment condition and ecological literature in China mainland,and express the hope to improve the relationship between the human beings and the nature.In addition,the author especially adds an appendix,detailed records the publication of the nature writing writer's works in Taiwan since 1978 until this thesis finished,in order to make a intuitive observation for its development situation.
