With the consideration of the loss of value in contemporary creative practice,this paper studies the reasons of German art's resurgence after World War II.Through the analysis of Baselize and Keefer's life experience,art works and creative thoughts,it shows the awakening of German postwar art from self-consciousness and the inner clue of the resurgence of perplexity in the deep of spirit.The full text is discussed through Chapter four:The first chapter describes the artistic features,propositions and contributions of the two artists,and the second chapter traces the social reality and the psychological state of the people when they are produced by the two arts.The third chapter discusses the artistic achievements of the two,and shows its breakthrough and advancement in the contemporary art creation,thus promoting the importance of German art in today's world art.The fourth chapter is to expound the thesis: the real artistic value creation is to return to the "self",with the current perplexity "back" to their national culture,history,national spirit to seek nourishment and creative power.The contemporary art creation--often falls into the value nihility,the meaning lacks,the superficial,the amusement the appearance but lacks the history and the spiritual dimension profundity.The art creation of Germany after World War II gives us a good example of reflection,which brings great thought energy to the world art.
