The Age Structure And Theme Form Of Contemporary Painters

This paper collects the relevant data of the winners from 6th-12 th National Art Exhibition(NAE).After a series of comparisons and analysis,the authors decided to analyze "what triggered " this phenomenon,including the unique characteristics of the times in the international context and the creative activities of the young participants.This motivated the artists and scholars interest in national art exhibitions the suggest of participation and research.This article it contrastive analysis as follows:1.The authors discovered that more than half of the winners of the NAE are young artists,174 in 6th NAE(70.4% of the total),236(71.5%)of the 7th NAE,92(69.2%)of the 8th NAE,168(62.5%)of the 9th NAE,147(54.2%)in the 10 th NAE,45(50%)in the 11 thNAE,and 34(51.5%)in the 12 th NAE.2.The times provide them different focus,this reflected in the content of the creations and the changes of the formal language in each NAE.The major themes are also the revolutionary army,historical,and social real life.Throughout all the NAE,the talented winner,followed the official guideline,value orientation in line with current trend of the times;on the other side,it also can represent the artist's own creative form of language.
