Research On The Influence Of Bimo Culture On The Social And Economic Development Of The Yi People

Guizhou is the area where boasts the largest amount of ancient documents of Yi nationality,and all these documents came from Bimo.Bimo reflect sall kinds of spiritual content in the production and life of the Yi ancient society.While Bimoes exercised their power,they produced a representative element of the Yi culture-Bimo culture.Generations of Bimoes built up the essence of the Yi culture.Although when it comes to Bimo culture most people,off the top of their heads,would think its God-related rituals and scriptures,but what people do not know is its comprehensive and rich content.Taking an example of Bijie City,Gui zhou Province,which was once governed by “Water West” and “Usa”,the Tusi of Yi nationality,this paper aims at studying the influence of Bimo culture over the social and economic development of the Yi nationality in this area.In the introduction,this paper introduces the background information and significance of the topic and summarizes the scope of Bimo culture,the impact of Bimo culture on the society and economy as well as the documents about the studies of the influence of Bimo culture over the local tourism economy.In the second chapter,the author summarizes the historical development of field investigation points in Bijie city,along with the local humanities,geography,environment and so on.In the third chapter,the author makes a collection of information and conducts a field investigation on the origin,characteristics and developmental status quo of Bimo culture in the Yi nationality area of Bijie City.Key part of the author(the chapter of fourth,fifth and sixth)discusses the author also makes an analysis of the current social influence of Bimo culture over the local Yi nationality,holding that Bimo culture plays a certain positive rolein the building of life values,identity and education.After Analyzing the relation between Bimo culture and the local economy,the author thinks that apart from being self-sufficient,Bimo culture also needs to rely on the development of foreign economy in order to survive.Based on the field theory,the author explores the economic behavior in Bimo field,including the capital exchange between nationality and various social groups,as well as analyses of cost and benefit.And this paper respectively discusses the positive influence of the Bimo culture on the contemporary society of Yi nationality and proposes some insights into a few transformable functions of its values.In terms of economic value,the paper focuses more on the development of local cultural tourism based on the Yi culture and tries to find the problems in the process of combining the Yi culture and regional tourism.What's more,it also improves the tourism development schemein the Yi nationality area of Bijie City by finding the integration point and mixing various factors,and proposes how to use the ‘Internet +” booming project in order to pass down on Bimo culture and develop the global tourism.In the last part of the paper,it is concluded that changes of culture in the process of globalization make the revival of Bimo culture become the support of the psychological and physiological needs of the Yi nationality.That being said,only by making a good use of the essence of the Yi nationality 's Bimo culture can we more comprehensively benefit the Yi area.
