The film Red And White Shoes, explores the direction of life and express the change of the personalities of characteristics by means of dance. The reason why the writer chooses a micro film with the theme of dance is that the dance is not only a formative art but also performant art on stage. Acting itself is impressionistic, while the stage is abstract; movie is a comprehensive art as well as narrative art; narration is realistic while the screen is figurative. Therefore, the writer wants to explore the integration of freehand brushwork and realism, the creation of abstract and concrete in the integration of art. Among the categories of art, dance is one of the most expressive arts, especially in the lens. Similarly, the dance film is full of emotions because dance itself plays a vital role. The combination of dance and film art also makes the dance show the role of narrative lyricism and helps the film to express the inner feelings.Dance action and plots of the film create much health and positive spirit which expresses some kind of emotion as well as a story of life. The film, combined with both characteristics of dance and film, explores the use of intertextuality through the play within the drama with the combination of the two kinds of art.The film, written in June,2016 and finished producing in March,2017,going through the writing,mid-term shooting, and post production process, lasted ten months to finish. The creation of film is the raw material of practical research. The writer intends to do a preliminary study of the use of intertextuality through chapters of the film’s creative thinking of the script, the concept of artistic exploration, and the practice of the production.
