This paper have analysis the phenomenon and explores the origin of "Sprout"journal's transformation, show the being state of"middle class literary",which take"Sprout" as the representative .They both retains a certain literary pursuit and seeking market acceptance, there is neither state within the system of professional writers and writers writing non pure market entertainment and popular writing .This paper also analysis the transformation causes and values of "Sprout" since the view of 1990s later Chinese literary production mechanism's changes, which reveals a literary development direction represented for transformation of "Sprout".
