Guo Jingming, growing up from a juvenile writer to "the Chinese most successful writer", elected by The New York Times, has always been successful. In the 10 years, although he was controverted and questioned by many people, he has always been pursued by people in publishing circle and media circle. Even so, he has created many sales legends. Guo Jingming’s publishing of a book can always attract extremely extensive attention and dispute, which has become a "Guo Jingming phenomenon".The thesis, which discusses the literary production mechanism of Guo Jingming from three aspects, includes five parts. The first chapter is introduction, of which main content is about Guo’s relevant research, reviewing the research status and elaborating the selected topic significance and research methods. The body is composed by the second part, third part and fourth part. The second chapter mainly analyzes Guo’s literary production mechanism of the context. From the aspect of the arrival of the era of mass consumption and the change of consumer demand, the first section mainly analyzes the conditions in the two macroscopic angles. From the team production mode and consumption market, the second section mainly analyzes the literary production mechanism of the context in two subjective aspect. The third chapter discusses the literary production mechanism of the main content. This part is a main part of the paper. The first section mainly analyzes its content production mechanism. It includes three aspects of content:The production-maintenance mechanism of writers; the production-packing mechanism of works and the generate-accept mechanism of readers. The second section mainly analyzes the published operating mechanism. It includes the copyright management and the marketing management. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the enlightenment of the literary production mechanism. The first section is the main content industrialization exploration, including these four aspects:on the basis of the industrial chain management, focusing on brand building, expanding by resource development, dominated by marketing. The second section mainly analyzes the production mechanism of the deficiencies and problems. On one hand, it is importance to guide the role of the market, despite the development tendency of "market is king" instead of "content is king". On the other hand, The work values still need correcting.Through the discussion of this article, we found that the reason which Guo Jingming can obtain huge commercial success is inseparable with its unique literary production mechanism. Guo Jingming seizes the opportunity of mass consumerism era, caters to popular culture consumption demand, uses team to create model for production on a large scale, locks cultural consumer market, grasps the consumption subject, actively explores the industrialization, and forms a set of relatively fixed literary production mechanism. At the same time Guo Jingming obtains commercial interests, he also needs to correct some tendency to ignore the social benefits.
