With more and more Confucius Institutes are established all around the world,Chinese is on the way to be an important international language.The enthusiasm of foreigners who from different countries and regions to learn Chinese language continuously,makes the teaching Chinese as a second language has aroused great concern in the field of linguistics.In recent years,by the explore and study of Chinese learning situation for the foreign students in China,we found that it has made great progress and development for the Chinese language teaching in domestic and foreign,and the TCSL's teaching methodology system is more perfect and scientific.And then the cultural awareness of Chinese language teaching are gradually highlighted.For the problem of which literary works can be selected for the Chinese textbook,some scholars proposal to select a part of Chinese outstanding literary works as the important documents of teaching Chinese as a second language,but some other scholars oppose it completely,they each one sticks to his own viewpoint.Looking at the main Chinese teaching textbooks which are published by the major colleges and universities,we can find that it has been no longer simplify of the textbook for current foreign students.Even the Chinese contemporary literature which had been greatly criticized before already become the important documents for high grades teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The author thinks that,as an important element of Chinese language,the literary works already show the charm of Chinese language by the beautiful words and lines,with the historical changes in the background of Chinese culture,they are the rare corpus documents to show the Chinese cultural.So with the current teaching situation of the literature works in junior high school Chinese Textbooks,in this paper,it takes the Chinese literature in the textbook of?Developing Chinese Advanced Comprehensive Course?as the important element to analysis the difference of selection for teaching material and teaching methods between them from all sides.It mainly uses the theory analysis,statistics and analysis methods to study the rich literature selection diversity and theme deeply.Finally,the author will put forward some suggestions on the selection of the textbook of ? Developing Chinese Advanced Comprehensive Course?,hope to provide reference for further revision and improvement of Chinese textbooks for foreigners.
