Protection And Development Of Traditional Villages In Ethnic Areas

Traditional village carries the traditional culture,carries the homesickness,carries every nation's history and memory.With the run-up in urbanization process,the influence of modernity and the invasion of commercial capital,traditional villages are in danger of disappearing,especially the traditional villages in ethnic minority areas.In April 2012,the four ministries jointly issued "on strengthening the protection of traditional villages development work guidance",extensive investigation of traditional village was launched,more and more people begin to pay close attention to the traditional villages.Under this background,the author carried out the research on protection and development of traditional villages in ethnic minority areas,trying to find out what specific problems are faced by traditional villages,how to protect and develop the traditional village in ethnic minority areas.Refers to past literature written by scholars,the author found out that few scholars concern with the study of traditional villages from the perspective of ethnic theory and policy,or from the perspective of the architectural meaning,this means there is a great exploration of research space on traditional villages.The author chooses Taoping Qiang village in Li County,ABa prefecture,Sichuan province as the research object and found out that the function and meaning of traditional architecture changes with the transformation of local social economy,under the new development situation,the village cultural practitioners inherit and innovate the ethnic traditional culture by dance instead of construction.In the process of this transformation,construction protection was neglected,protection and development of traditional village facing difficulties.Faced with this situation,the author believes that no matter what kind of method would be taken to protect and develop the traditional villages in ethnic minority areas,first of all,we should face up to the realities of situation of traditional villages,respect local residents scholars.Coordinate every aspects which participate in the construction oftraditional villages actively,promote the harmonious coexistence of traditional villages in ethnic minority areas,also we should strengthen the protection of traditional villages from various sources.
