With the increasing connection of the world,the influence of China is becoming more and more important.A large number of foreigners start to learn Chinese in China or in Confucius Institutes around the whole world.Teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages develops rapidly.A lot of people start to research and perfect the methods of teaching Chinese.In order to arouse students' interest,many researchers integrated films and television programs to the teaching resource,which has obtained certain effect.They generally used movies,TV plays and variety shows as their teaching tools.This article finds that the film and television advertising have the superiority which these film and television works are unable to surmount in teaching Chinese.It draws close to the life and the dialogue it uses is very common in daily communication.The content is also used during people's daily life.What's more,its pronunciation standard contains every kind of grammar which the student needs to study,and the vocabulary is huge.So it suits the teaching Chinese as a foreign language extremely.This article discusses the present situation,the question,the superiority and the suggestion of taking the film and television advertising as the teaching resources to teach Chinese to people who don't speak Chinese.
