History Of Sanjiazhai Road Hall In Xingren County, Guizhou Province

The khanqah is a place for religious activities of Islamic Sufism.In the 16 th year of the Emperor Guangxu of the Qing dynasty(AD 1890),Ma Yuanzhang,who is the leader of the seventh generation of the Jahriyyah school of the Chinese Hui's Islam,went around and inspected the religious affairs in Guizhou province and placed the khanqah in Sanjia village in Xingren county.The khanqah in Sanjia village completed in the 18 th year of the Emperor Guangxu of the Qing dynasty(AD 1892),since then three imams have affected the development of the khanqah more or less in their own office.The khanqah in Sanjia village has always been a holy religious site for Jahriyyah Muslims in or outside Guizhou province and since the late Qing Dynasty,it was also once the centre of religious affairs for the unified management of Guizhou province "Twelve mosques".This paper is made on the main historical development of the khanqah in Sanjia village in Xingren county in Guizhou province,and gave a detailed analysis on the foundation,development and historical function of the khanqah,sorted out the history of the khanqah and people and events involved after long-term,all-round and multi-angle ethnological field works with the researching methods on both history and historical anthropology.The main target of this paper is to think deeply and grasp the realistic tendency of khanqah accurately.The thesis consists of three parts——introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the research origin,status,purpose,method and content,research ideas and innovation.The body part is divided into five chapters to describe: The first chapter,general situation of the Sanjia village.This chapter focuses on the brief introduction on the natural overview,the Huis' origin and the Huis' religion in Sanjia village.Its purpose is to pave the way for the text from macroscopic paint of view.The second chapter is to introduce the foundation of khanqah in Sanjia village.This part studies the significance of religious leaders in promoting the religious culture by defining the basic concepts of the “khanqah”,Ma Yuanzhang and the process of khanqah's foundation in Sanjia village.The third chapter is focus on the development of the khanqah in Sanjia village.This chapter is mainly through the historical period of the first ra'is Yang Yunhe and the second ra'is Jin Pingao of the khanqah in Sanjia village,interpretating each imam who was served as "housekeeper" of the khanqah how to promote religious,cultural,educational,economic and other aspects of khanqah in Sanjia villiage.The fourth chapter is to summarize the historical function on the khanqah in Sanjia village.This chapter describes that the khanqah in Sanjia village was a place for cultivation and management of believers of Jahriyyah in Guizhou.This makes the paper sublimated to a higher level,and makes the former khanqah in Sanjia village features instantly gave a vivid and colorful freshness to us.The fifth chapter is called: Realistic thinking on the khanqah in Sanjia village.This chapter starts from paying attention to the historical value,importance and survival mode of the khanqah,and thinks the khanqah in Sanjia village in different perspective,which constitutes the ultimate goal and destination of this paper.The conclusion summarizes the core described in the context,and extracts the historical essence of the khanqah in Sanjia village,which is based on the practical needs of the khanqah in Sanjia village.
