The Interpretation Of The Inscription Of The Kiln

Inscriptions play important roles in the study and dating of ancient ceramics.In this paper,through the inscriptions of archaeological excavations,the inscriptions of museums' ding ware ceramics and the inscriptions from some collectors,we can study ding ware.More than one hundred of inscriptions of ding kiln will be divided into four categories,which are imperial inscriptions,official inscriptions,usual inscriptions and religious inscriptions.Through these valuable inscriptions,the writer tries to give reasonable explanations and judge their age.This article is based on the historical literature.In the literature,we can find the meanings of the inscriptions in order to have a better understanding of ding ware.
