| Under the background of cultural industry becoming one of the pillar industries of national economy in Xi'an City,arts and culture industry which is one of the core layers of cultural industry plays a more and more prominent role in economic development and regional competitive advantage.Taking Xi'an as the research area,based on the streets as the spatial unit,applying spatial analysis methods including the average nearest neighbor,average ellipse center and direction,hot spot analysis the paper studied the cluster type and the spatial agglomeration characteristics of arts and culture industry.Using the method of per capita education and population statistics studied the spatial distribution characteristics of the population's education quality.At last,this paper explored the correlation and coupling coordination degree between the pattern of arts and culture industry and population's education quality with the method of overlay analysis,Pearson correlation coefficient and coupling coordination degree analysis.In practice,had a certain degree of guidance to rational planning and optimizing the layout of urban culture art industry.The main conclusion of this paper was as follows:The first Part,from the spatial pattern of arts and culture industry:the overall distribution characteristic of arts and culture industry was that the South,and the inner of Xi'an were high-density areas,and the North,and the outer parts were low-density areas.The regional agglomeration level difference was obvious.The spatial distribution of sub-categories of arts and culture industry were broadly in line with the overall spatial characteristics,but showed some specificity.The degree of agglomeration of artistic training institutions was the greatest.The spatial distribution center of the whole and sub-categories of arts and culture industry was in Changan road and Wenyi road.The main direction of space layout was given priority to Northeast to Southwest.Through the hot spot analysis find the whole presented the pattern of spatial agglomeration that the surrounding was cold and the middle was hot.The second part,from the population spatial pattern of cultural quality:the overall distribution characteristic of population's education quality was that the South,West and the inner of Xi'an city were high areas,and the North,East and the outer of Xi'an city were low areas.The population proportion under different intensity of agglomeration of arts and culture industry existed differences in elementary,secondary and higher education.The gather place of sub-categories of arts and culture industry had their unique cultural characteristics.The secondary education accounting for most of the population,the spatial distribution pattern of elementary school,junior high school,high school,undergraduate and graduate students showed diminishing from center to around.The three part,from the correlation and coupling coordination degree of arts and culture industry and population's education quality:it was moderate correlation of each other.The high-density streets agglomeration of arts and culture industry was with the higher population's education quality.But the coupling coordination degree of each other now belonged to low coordination state,and had yet to be further improved.(1)Through the overlay analysis found that:the high-density agglomeration streets of arts and culture industry had the characteristics of higher population culture quality.And artistic training institutions,literature and art society,literature and art venues,literature research institutes and associations,libraries showed a preference to appealing the population groups of higher cultural quality.The population proportion under different intensity of agglomeration area of arts and culture industry existed differences in elementary,secondary and higher education.The spatial distribution area of sub-categories of arts and culture industry had their unique cultural characteristics.The population in the street which was gathering Martyr cemetery and memorial hall,archives,cultural heritage and protection agency had a high school education or above.Library was mainly distributed in the bachelor culture degree of the street.Literature and art research institute and association were mostly the bridge and the link between literary and art workers,mainly distributed in the street with bachelor degree and above.The market service characteristics of artistic training institution,literature and art society,literature and art venue were significantly.They tended to choose main internal place with the populous,rich variety of the formats on the spatial location selection.So the cultural degree of population of the spatial distribution in the streets cann't make certain cultural degree of population to occupy the main position but all kinds of cultural degree was comparable to the population.(2)Through the related analysis found that:arts and culture industry had moderate correlation with population's education quality,especially the close correlation with the library.Arts and culture industry had moderate correlation with the elementary,secondary and higher education,especially related more closely with moderate population education.In addition,the population of elementary education had close correlation with the literature and art society,literature and art venues,libraries.The population of moderate education had close correlation with artistic training institutions,literature and art society,literature and art venues,libraries.The population of higher education had close correlation with the literature and art venues,libraries.(3)Through the analysis of the coupling coordination found that:The low coupling low-grade coordination type accounted for 43.64%in eight kinds of coupling coordination types.So the characteristics of arts and culture industry and population's education quality showed low coupling low-grade coordination in the whole.At the same time,the distribution characteristics of coupling coordination degree of space layers was significantly and increased step by step like a circular ring from the edge to the center.It showed the significant difference between the layers.Two systems were at the early stage of development,the trend of the mutual and good cooperation increasing from the edge to the center.The conclusion showed that seeking the coordinated development balance of each other needed further
