Hong Kong SAR has returned to China for 20 years,but the promotion of Putonghua in Hong Kong SAR is not satisfactory.The study of Hong Kong-style Chinese and its impact on Putonghua communication in Hong Kong is essential to the development of Putonghua in Hong Kong.Analysis of the composition and characteristics of Hong Kong Chinese and its differences with Putonghua are conducive to a better understanding of the Putonghua level of the people of Hong Kong.The results of the study will provide more targeted suggestions and countermeasures for Putonghua education in Hong Kong,thus promoting the development of Putonghua education in Hong Kong.However,due to there are few research results in Hong Kong-style Chinese now,especially on the characteristics and development of Hong Kong-style Chinese in recent years,and the Putonghua study situation of Hong Kong students,the Putonghua educators of Hong Kong are not fully aware of the Putonghua level of students in Hong Kong.This has affected the effect of Putonghua learning for students in Hong Kong.The main work listed as follows:(1)On the basis of reading a large number of related research literature,it is pointed out that Hong Kong-style Chinese is developed on the basis of Cantonese dialect,which is often used to describe Hong Kong written language.From the literature,the paper analyzes the characteristics of Hong Kong Chinese studied by other researchers,and the influence of English and Cantonese dialect on Hong Kong Chinese.Pointing out that the current teaching of Putonghua education has some problems,such as short teaching time and wrong teaching focus.It shows that the research materials of this paper are from the relevant literature,the newspapers published by Hong Kong and the spoken language of Hong Kong university students.(2)From the background and the reasons for the formation of Hong Kong-style Chinese,it is pointed out that Hong Kong-style Chinese is based on standard Chinese as a framework and influenced by English,Cantonese dialect and classical Chinese.In terms of vocabulary and sentence patterns,it has a lot differences with standard Chinese.The development of Hong Kong-style Chinese has gone through five stages and is in a two-language three-language stage now.But the number of people in Hong Kong who hold Putonghua is far less than that of Cantonese dialect or English.TheHong Kong government and the education sector have vigorously promoted standard Chinese and Putonghua education,and more and more primary and secondary schools have set up Putonghua courses,the overall trend is good.However,due to some problems in teaching methods and so on,the actual teaching effect is not satisfactory.(3)From the two aspects of vocabulary and sentence,the difference between Hong Kong and Putonghua is analyzed.In particular,the paper analyzes the influence of English,Cantonese dialect and classical Chinese on Hong Kong.In aspect of English,vocabulary,translating words and part of speech changes affect Hong Kong Chinese vocabulary.Time phrases,conjunctions,summary phrases and verbs affect the Hong Kong-style Chinese's sentence style.In the aspect of Cantonese dialect,synonyms,homonyms,Cantonese dialectic cultural words and quantifiers affect the Hong Kong-style Chinese vocabulary,"there is + verb" sentence effect the style of Hong Kong-style Chinese's sentence.In the classical Chinese,negative adverbs and some monosyllabic words affect the Hong Kong Chinese vocabulary,"get/suffer" and other passive sentences affect the style of Hong Kong-style Chinese's sentence.(4)Based on the teaching curriculum and the corpus of the inculcation of Putonghua in Hong Kong,the problems in Mandarin spoken language of Hong Kong college students were analyzed.In terms of terms,Hong Kong students are prone to bias in word formation,word formation and meaning.In the Cantonese dialect sentence negative transfer and adverbial posture prone to grammatical errors.According to the level of Putonghua students,in order to enhance the teaching effect of Putonghua students in Hong Kong,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of Putonghua in Hong Kong from the aspects of increasing the teaching duration,grasping the teaching focus,creating the language environment and paying attention to cross-cultural communication.
