For a long time,ambiguity of words has been studying as an important issue by many linguists to study the Modern Chines.It's also a universal phenomenon in many languages.In this articles,based on my own understanding and the practice in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,I will describe on the basis of the existing research results about ambiguity and give some of my opinions and suggests to avoid ambiguity during study a language.In teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the ambiguity is a common and difficult point in learn process.It is so difficult to ignore when students learning Chinese.If an international student doesn't clear understand the ambiguity of different words,it could interpreted communication to others.Therefore,it is necessary to study ambiguity when teacher is teaching foreign language.This article will make a conclusion to improve how to teach ambiguity during learning foreign language.This article will divided as six main topics to analyze the ambiguity during learn foreign language.First,it summarized the research achievements the study of modern Chinese ambiguity through nearly half a century.It focus on three parts including the research purpose and significance of ambiguity,the research status to study ambiguity,and the research methods to use for ambiguity.Then put forward the research content and research method that I will use in this article.Second,article focus on the causes of ambiguity,the definition of ambiguity,and the classification of ambiguity.Lay a good foundation for the study of ambiguity ontology,and avoid discuss the problem that are excessive and generalization.Third and fourth chapter,the article analyze the ambiguity based on the phenomenon of modern Chinese,combining with the situation of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The article put forward a feasible method to eliminate ambiguity.The third chapter analyze from the ambiguity of the types,and causes,and offer some teaching methods could be used in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The fourth chapter combine the content of the third chapter,put forward the methods of disambiguation,and mainly talk about conditions of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and offer feasible method to solve ambiguity when student study Chinese.Fifth,discuss the investigation and analysis of the results from this study,then make some suggests of teaching strategies during foreign language learning process.Also,some suggestions on write a teaching materials.Chapter five is very important part in this article,it will help teacher when teaching ambiguity in foreign language by use our result of study.Sixth,it is the conclusion chapter,it summarizes the shortcomings of this study,and made the desire of next study of ambiguity.
