Fryderyk Franciszek Chopin(1810-1849)is one of the most popular and influential composers of European romantic music in the 19 th century.Chopin wrote as many as 58 mazurkas in his short life. This made him the greatest contributor to mazurka 's genre in music history.Up to now, mazurka dance music is still a common music on the stage of the world piano performance,is also an important music in the piano teaching.Based on this, this study attempts to explore the performance characteristics of Chopin mazuka dance music in terms of speed, and provide the basis for mazuka dance music performance and teaching. From the domestic research literature, the existing research mainly through music analysis to explore the music characteristics of mazurka dance music, there is no research through the way of audio version comparison to explore the performance speed of mazurka dance music.Based on this, this study attempts to reveal the characteristics of Chopin mazurka 's performance speed by analyzing the similarities and differences of speed processing between different audio versions of b minor mazurka 's dance music(op.33 No.4).The four audio versions selected in this study were from Horowitz,Polini,Fu Cong and Luissada.Through objective acoustic analysis, combined with music score and music text analysis, this study makes a comparative study on the logical identity and difference between macro speed and micro speed of four audio versions.Analysis of the macro speed shows that the overall performance speed of the four pianists is in the range of 122 to 136 beats per minute(small fast plate speed).Based on the analysis of the fastest Luisada and the slowest version of Fu Cong 's sound,it is found that their performance is reasonable and has distinct personal characteristics.Taking the most distinctive ending sentences of each audio version in the music as the research object, the analysis results show that each version has logical identity in the processing of elastic velocity, but there are differences at the same time.Combined with music ontology analysis,it can be found that each player 's differential processing has their reasons, reflected in the different understanding of the music structure and its changes. In addition, through the analysis of the similarities and differences between macro speed and micro speed processing,it is found that the macro speed and micro speed of each version are closely related. As we all know, the performance of music is influenced by many factors such as speed, rhythm, intensity, timbre and so on.Because the length of this paper is limited, the author can only elaborate on the speed of music based on the time dimension, and other factors need to be gradually improved in the future. In short, this study reveals the characteristics of Chopin mazurka 's performance speed by analyzing the similarities and differences of speed processing between different audio versions of b minor mazurka(op.33 No.4)and combining music score and music text analysis. This study will further supplement and promote Chopin mazuka dance music performance research, and provide reference for Mazurka's performance and teaching.
