Schopenhauer is often regarded as the starting point of philosophy of voluntarism, which is inseparable from the era and his philosophical atmosphere.Kant's influence on Schopenhauer is the biggest,Kant's epistemology also appeared in Schopenhauer's Philosophy. The phenomenon is perceived, but the thing-it-self world outside of consciousness can only be understood by us.Schopenhauer is in favor of Kant's distinction, but the thing-it-self is will which was seen here as something that can be directly recognized.Second have a profound impact on Schopenhauer's philosophy is Platon, because Platon,Schopenhauer discovered the meaning of life.Of course, the above is the Schopenhauer philosophy system after the establishment of things, before that,it should not be ignored. As early as 25 years of age,Schopenhauer's doctoral thesis had already contained the germ of his philosophy. In this paper,Schopenhauer tries to answer "what can I know?" and "how do I know?",Faced with this series of questions,Schopenhauer completed his answer with the help of The Principle of Sufficient Reason. The Principle of Sufficient Reason,it means "nothing is without a reason".Through the study of The Principle of Sufficient Reason,Schopenhauer explains the world of our experience. This paper attempts to make a comb on Schopenhauer's The Principle of Sufficient Reason in order to better understand the problems in his philosophy. In the first chapter of this paper, there are three questions, first of all,the author introduces Kant's influence on Schopenhauer's epistemology, and how to criticize and inherit the philosophy of Kant by Schopenhauer. The second is to introduce Leibniz's thought of The Principle of Sufficient Reason, although Schopenhauer himself did not pay attention to the thought of Leibniz, but from the perspective of the history of philosophy,Leibniz made it clear first. The third is Schopenhauer's comment on the predecessors' The Principle of Sufficient Reason,Schopenhauer distinguishes between reason and cause through reflection. These three parts constitute the background of Schopenhauer's The Principle of Sufficient Reason. The second chapter of the thesis is based on Schopenhauer's doctoral thesis,"On the Fourfold Root of the Principle of Sufficient Reason",which is the main reference text of the chapter, systematically combing Schopenhauer's On the Fourfold Root of the Principle of Sufficient Reason ideological content. Each of them is based on the cognitive ability and cognitive object corresponding to a subject,Through the discussion of the four bases,we have a complete understanding of Schopenhauer's Epistemology. The third part of the article is to express the importance of The Principle of Sufficient Reason in Schopenhauer's whole philosophy system, the main content has the following two aspects. The first is to analyze the two important concepts, the Understanding and the Necessity.Schopenhauer's transformation of the Understanding is undoubtedly one of the key points of his epistemology, and the concept of the Necessity is intrinsically related to the former. The second is the role of Schopenhauer's concept of "Idea",In this part, first of all,it discusses the particularity of "Idea" in Schopenhauer's philosophy from the perspective of Epistemology, and then put The Principle of Sufficient Reason in Schopenhauer's Philosophy to explain the meaning of the Idea to the Will and Schopenhauer's negation of Will. The last part is the conclusion, which makes a summary of the whole article. In order to explore Schopenhauer's metaphysics and its influence on later philosophers.
