Adorno’s aesthetic thought is reflected in his book "Aesthetic Theory",both on the traditional aesthetics of dialectical criticism,but also foresee the modernist aesthetics.Because of the rapid development of capitalist social instrumental rationality.Adorno argues that traditional art has formed an alliance with capitalist ideology,paralyzed and devoid of human nature.It is a kind of "repressive anti-sublimation".And only modernist art can break the identity of the capitalist society,breaking the repression so that the human is liberated.Adorno’s criticism of the rationality of capitalist social instruments and the esteem of modernist art to break the repression,to replace the identity with non-identity,and this modern aesthetic concept also has Freud’s psychoanalytic dimensions.This paper will analyze the influence of Freud on Adomo’ s aesthetic thoughts and analyze the nature of "repressive anti-sublimation" in "Aesthetic Theory",and expound the analysis of the psychoanalytic dimensions of his aesthetic thoughts.The article will examine this issue from four aspects.In the introduction,first of all,the concept of "depressive anti-sublimation" is traced back.Specifically,this concept has its history.Psychoanalysts Freud,Marx and Engels,Herbert Marcuse and Zizek,each of them from their own thinking and disciplinary perspective to elucidation the concept of "depressed anti-sublimation",express their views,enriched this Theoretical concept,but also for the Adorno "aesthetic theory" in the analysis of the nature of depression anti-sublimation laid the concept of theoretical basis.Second,it is the study of the origin of Adorno and psychoanalysis.Whether it is on the analysis of popular culture,or in the "Authoritative Personality" in the Freudian theory of psychology,are sufficient to prove the influence of Freud’s psychoanalysis on Adorno’s works and thoughts.Then,Adorno’s aesthetic masterpiece"Aesthetic theory" also more or less implied Freud’s psychoanalytic theory,reflecting the factors in psychology.In the first part,through the study of the interaction between art and society,dialectically reveals the inherent contradiction of the duality of art(self-discipline and sociality),which is embodied of the art of the view of technology and style.Adorno argues that the structure of the art field is similar to the construction of the human thought space.In Freud’s personality structure,ego obeys super-ego’s orders to suppress id,and in the way of reality to meet the instinct of the desire,so that id,ego and super-ego maintain a balance.And in the era of Adomo,the relationship between the three is in an imbalance.The external society into the art of super-ego,control the art of self-discipline and cooperate with id,leading to the face of the crisis of art.Adorno through the specific view of technology and style makes the art of id,self-discipline and super-ego get a balance.The second part is the discussion of desire dialectics.Freud from the perspective of psychological analysis,that art is the result of unconscious desire projection,is the impulses of the plenipotentiary,to break the universal values of society has anti-sublimation significance.However,Adorno believes that unconsciousness is only one of the opportunities of art,as well as the art of materials,language,form,etc.Freud’s artistic view is dialectically criticized.Then,Adorno to the popular culture brought pleasure to be dialectically criticized,that the real art to the human is brought"shock".Then,He discusses the art to prevent the purely intuitive pleasure,it is necessary to conceptualization and spiritualization of art,this art can reflect the truth.The third part is to explore the isomorphism between art and dream,with its own operating mechanism against the external society of irrationality.First of all,the operation of the art and the dream mechanism has its original power,unconscious and imitated impulses are individual forms of connection,each with a unique way to establish contact with consciousness and reason.Second,people tend to think that there is a hidden symbolic content behind the art and the dream,in fact which is the cover of the individual operation mechanism,the fictitiousness of the content behind the form and the misleading pursuit of the content.Analysis of the form of art and dreams,what is to be exposed is not hidden by its content,but their form of their own secret-condensate and displacement,this is the dream and the art of truth.Finally,in fact,the false absurdity of dreams and art is also a typical representative of concealment and expose.In fact,they use the absurdity of the surface to confront the external reality,with its own logic.Both the dream and the art are in the form of contradictory unity that exposes and conceals,conceals and exposes interdependence,and the exposed content is concealed as a condition.This article will use the "aesthetic theory" as the basis of the text,from the Freud’s psychoanalytic dimensions,made a new analysis of Adorno’s theory of modern art criticism,from which to find the critical inheritance of Freudian theory.And highlight the "suppression of anti-sublimation" nature,pioneered the study of Adorno’s aesthetic theory of a new perspective.With a view to Adorno future research to make a little inspiration and contribution.
