Economics Academic Journals Abstracts English-Chinese Translation Practice Report

This paper is an English-Chinese translation report on economics journal abstracts.The source text named American Economics Reviews,is the leading economic magazine in the world,introducing the world's forefront Economic research and results.As the economic abstracts,I met difficulty in proper nouns and abstract vocabulary.There are a lot differences between English abstract titles and Chinese titles,so it's important to translate English titles into Chinese ones conforming to Chinese grammar norms.The source text is strongly logical,so the main difficulty is to make the translation logic reasonable and achieve the same effect as the original text.Therefore,the emphasis is placed on the coherence and related translation strategy.Through the translation of the study of the journal abstracts,on the one hand,the author hopes to provide translation methods for China's economic-related practitioners,conducive to its rapid retrieval of key information,and to grasp the dynamics of economic development;on the other hand,my essay can provide a little contribution to the same type translation.
