Research On Marriage Ceremony In Jiaodong Area

The custom of marriage and marriage is a reflection of the culture of folk life,a microcosm of the social development of a nation or region,and it develops with the change of time and environment,which is closely related to each of us.It not only reflects the history and spirit of a certain stage or period,but also shows the relevant social economy,folk culture,ethics and customs and so on.Jiaodong region marriage customs as part of the marriage customs in China,contains both the local folk art,food,clothing,living habits,philosophy and values,and reflects its unique regional features of marriage culture,therefore has the important value of folklore research.Jiaodong region has a long history and a rich customs,the marriage ceremony in the long period of social production and life,the accumulation of profound cultural connotations.Through field investigation,literature research and other methods,this paper studies the marriage ceremony in Jiaodong region through the theory of folklore,anthropology and sociology.The introduction mainly introduces the background of the research on the marriage ceremony in Jiaodong peninsula,the significance of the research and the methods used in the research,as well as the definition of concepts and relevant theories.The first chapter mainly wrote the marriage ceremony and its symbolic significance in Jiaodong area.The wedding ceremony of Jiaodong area was introduced in detail from the engagement ceremony before the wedding ceremony to the ceremony after the wedding ceremony.The second chapter mainly wrote about the functions of the Jiaodong wedding ceremony and how the local villagers' life and marriage ceremony was displayed.The third chapter is the description of the characteristics of the wedding ceremony of Jiaodong,mainly wrote the grand marriage ceremony,the heavy ancestor worship and the thick human spirit and other characteristics.In the fourth chapter,the author writes about the changes of the marriage ceremony in Jiaodong,and analyzes the reasons for the change of marriage ceremony.
