As a friendly neighbor of China,Thailandhas an increasingly close relationship with China in many aspects,such as politics,economy,science,technology,culture,and so on.The Thai government also regards the development of Chinese learning as an important measure in Sino-Thai Trade development and the enhancement of its international competitiveness;The Thai Ministry of Education attaches great importance to Chinese undergraduate education in cultivating high-level Chinese talents.In 2007,Payap University of Thailand,as a famous private university in the north,established the "1+2+1" Chinese-language Major for undergraduates' cooperation mode with the International College of Chinese Studies in Shanghai Normal University,which not only has promoted the development of local Chinese education in schools,but also has cultivated a large number of Chinese talents for the relevant industries in Thailand,especially the commercial trade and tourism.The two sides of Sino-Thai's cooperative education havegone through seven years by 2017.In this process,there are still inadequacies in the success of this mode,and no one has collected the relevant data or studied the specific cooperation projects.It was my honor to serve as the head teacher and the course teacher of the students of two grade in China last year,and I made a comprehensive investigation on the Chinese curriculum of "1+2+1" Chinese-language Major for undergraduates in Payap University of Thailand through literature,questionnaire,interview method and so on.In addition,I objectively analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the existing courses on the basis of quantitative statistics to make contributions to the study on the cooperative education of Chinese-language major between these two schools.The contents of this thesis are arranged as follows:Chapter1: Introduction.This part introduces the research background,significance,status,description,the object and research methods and steps of this thesis.Chapter2: An overview of the development of Chinese-language undergraduate major in Payap University of Thailand mainly including the general situation of Payap University,"Chinese-language Major for undergraduates,the curriculum setting in China and the contrastive study of The Teaching Syllabus for Foreign Students of Chinese-Language Major in the Institution of Higher Learning.Chapter3: The investigation and analysis of Chinese curriculum setting and teaching situation mainly including the investigation on the basic situation of the students,the curriculum setting,the teaching materials,the teacher faculty,the current teaching conditions and the situation of academic dissertations.Chapter4: Suggestions for optimizing Chinese curriculum and teaching arrangement.It mainly includes the optimization Suggestions for curriculum setting(curriculum arrangement and teaching materials)and optimization Suggestions of teaching situation(teacher's teaching methods and student's learning strategies).Chapter5: The Conclusion,including the main points,the inadequacies,and the value of the application of this thesis.The last part: The main reference of this paper,the appendix of the detailed questionnaire about the two versions of Chinese and Thai of the professional teachers and students in this major,as well as the author's thanks.
