Pan Yuezhen's Research On The Artistic Thought Of Drama Improvement

In the late Qing Dynasty and early Min Dynasty,the traditional Peking Opera spread south into Shanghai.Affected by the Shanghai industry and commerce society and influence of the western culture,Shanghai Opera formed unique drama themes,performances,stage props,and exhibited a strong sense of innovation.Shanghai Opera represents many characters,and Pan Yueqiao was one of the more special cases,he had a title of "Great actor".He was a pioneer in the opera reform movement,who pushed the new play,premiered Shanghai Opera and Peking opera reform stylized performances.He and his friends built a new stage,to promoted the Shanghai Opera.The aesthetic modernity transformation which promoted the new development of Peking Opera of the times and left a valuable experience for future generations.This article first tells us the Pan Yueqiao's life experience and practice,through his legendary life experience to understand his indomitable spirit of opera reform.According to the performance of Pan Yueqiao's place of work,his artistic career is divided into three periods,Tian Xian Tea Garden period,Dan Gui Tea Garden and New Stage period,studied the Pan Yueqiao three times in the choice of theme and performance form of performance and progress,combing the art of occurrence,development and mature period.Combined with the development of Shanghai's commerce and the rise and development of the citizen class,it explored the inner driving force of Pan Yueqiao's drama revolution.It helped to understand the artistic innovation of his opera improvement,so as to spy on the aesthetic characteristics and transformation of Pan Yueqiao's artistic performance.
