Ming And Qing Dynasty Tongzhi Proverb Studies

The proverb is a kind of vocabulary with long history,extensive use and high frequency of use in Chinese.In ancient and modern classics,there are countless quotes.Most proverbs are summaries of daily life experiences,the form is easy to understand,reflecting social history?time life and customs,it is an important material to study social customs.A lot of proverbs are recorded in the general annals of the Ming And Qing Dynasties.These proverbs cover all aspects of people's lives and reflect the social realities of different regions.Through the study of various kinds of proverbs,we can better understand the different regions' understanding of nature ? geographical environment?natural features?history and society.The main body of this paper is divided into four parts:The first chapter is study on the classification of proverbs in the general annals Of The Ming and Qing dynasties.The proverbs contained in the general annals Of the Ming and qing dynasties are classified according to source and content.The source is classified according to the oral and written language.According to the different contents of the content,it is divided into seven categories: geographical soil,material habits,climate meteorology,traditional customs,imperial examination,character evaluation,and life cultivation.The second chapter is the paraphrase of the proverb.This section contains the interpretation of the geographical wind,material and climate weather proverbs.The proverbs of the general annals of The Ming and Qing dynasties involve local geographical features and customs,which are difficult to understand.This paper will study the semantics of these proverbs by combining the literatureThe third chapter is interpretation of proverbs.This chapter interprets the customs,the imperial examinations,the characters and the proverbs.The fourth chapter is general knowledge and cultural studies of the general annals of The Ming and Qing dynasties.The content of proverbs is complex,and the cultural world is rich.The paper only selects the cultural world from the aspects of material culture,spiritual culture and institutional culture,which are closely related to production,life and thought.
