Descartes is known as the inaugurator of European modern philosophy.Husserl is the founder of the phenomenology which is the most important philosophical schools in the 20 th century. Both of them have strong influence on philosophy. It can be said that both historical and contemporary philosophers and scholars have been constantly reviewing their questions.Phenomenology advocates being based on the phenomenon of absolute being given and using suspending, reduction and intuition as main methods.Although phenomenology displays inconsistencies in many qualities with traditional philosophy, this does not mean that phenomenology is born out of thin air.As one of the representatives of traditional philosophy,Descartes philosophy has a close relationship with phenomenology, and its influence is mainly reflected in philosophical spirit methods. On the other hand, phenomenology requires itself by strict scientific concept. So it must have critical aspects in the absorption of traditional philosophy. Therefore,Husserl's phenomenology has two dimensions. One side inherits Cartesian philosophy and the other side develops Cartesian philosophy. There are many books and essays studied on Descartes and Husserl individually at home and abroad, but few of them are related to one another. Therefore, this background constitutes the main writing motivation of this article.Whether in The Idea of Phenomenology,Ideas: General Introduction to Pure Phenomenology or in Cartesian Meditations and The Crisis of European Sciences and Transcendental Phenomenology.Descartes has always been a key figure in Husserl's constant work.Husserl has a great interest in Descartes' philosophy. He not only highly praised Descartes' thought but also criticized and developed it.I think it is a significant topic to make the relationship of Husserl's phenomenology of Descartes' philosophy.Through this article,we can see that Husserl inherited Cartesian philosophy in three aspects: fundamentalism, absolute certainty, clarity and evidence. On the other hand,we will indicate Husserl's Phenomenology beyond Cartesian Philosophy on philosophical attitudes, intentional issues and interactive subjectivity. The conclusion will show that Husserl's emphasis on Descartes is more of an idea and method, and the problems of Cartesian philosophy itself, such as dualism and solipsism, are rejected by phenomenology.
