| Shang Jun Shu is a representative work of Shang Yang and his postschool.It marks the beginning of the maturation of Legalist thought.It is an important source of literature for studying Shang Yang School,and has high theoretical and literature value.The thought of "Shang Jun Shu" has played a great role in the formation and development of Chinese monarchical politics for more than 2,000 years.On the basis of summing up the achievements of predecessors,this paper discusses and studies the thought of "Shang Jun Shu" as a powerful country by combining intellectual history with social history,literature analysis and other research methods.This paper reveals the important role of the thought of "Shang Jun Shu" in the development of ancient Chinese society.The study thinks that the special background of late Zhou Dynasty and the development of Qin,especially Shang Yang’s powerful nation thought,caters to Qin Xiaogong’s psychology of changing the situation of "princes inferior to Qin",and makes the Qin state change from weak to strong.The thought of "Shang Jun Shu" as a powerful country involves many aspects,such as politics,economy and military affairs,and it is a complete theoretical system with the aim of enriching the country and strengthening the army.Politically,monarchy is the core of the thought of "Shang Jun Shu" as a powerful country.In economy,it is the foundation of "Shang Jun Shu" strong country thought.In military affairs,militarism is the key of "Shang Jun Shu" strong country thought,and the strategy of governing the country.The rule of law is the guarantee of the thought of "Shang Jun Shu".Through the comparison between the thought of "Shang Jun Shu" and other schools of thought,this paper reveals the difference and relation between the thought of "Shang Jun Shu" and other schools of thought.In the course of the development of Legalist thought,Guanzi advocates the use of etiquette and law,and Shang Yang school advocates the rule of law.Han Feizi advocated the combination of law,technique and power;Guanzi advocated emphasizing agriculture,developing industry and commerce with restraint,while Shang Yang and Han Feizi all advocated emphasizing agriculture and restraining commerce.Compared with Confucianism,the thought of "Shang Jun Shu" is different in terms of human nature,strategy of governing the country,standpoint of war and so on.Most of the Confucianists advocate that human nature is inherently good,the school of Shang Yang advocates human nature likes and dislikes,and Confucianism advocates the rule of virtue.Shang Yang school advocates the rule of law;Confucianism adheres to family-ism,homeostasis,Shang Yang school advocates monarchy,Confucianism opposes war;Shang Yang school actively fights,and studies the inevitability of the combination of Confucianism and law.The thought of "Shang Jun Shu" is different from that of Taoism in the view of the universe,the strategy of governing the country,the view of war,etc.The Taoism adheres to the law of nature,the school of Shang Yang adheres to the rule of man,the Taoist school advocates the rule of law by doing nothing,and the school of Shang Yang advocates the rule of law.The Taoists opposed the war,and the Shang Yang school actively fought the war.The thought of "Shang Jun Shu" influenced the thinkers of the same period and later,so that the concept of law was deeply rooted in the people’s mind,and the influence of its thought was not confined to the ideological level.And in practice for the unity of Qin,for more than 2,000 years of monarchicalpolitics to provide a unified political and economic model,had an important impact on the feudal society. |
