Research On The Political Ethics Thought Of Shang Yang

Shang Yang was the founder of legalist theory who lived in the warring state period that was full of social unrests.He successfully strengthened Qin dynasty in economics and military power,and proposed the profound political ethics thought on this basis.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part: Preface,this part centers on the meaning of this study and literature review at home and abroad.The second part: The era background and theoretical basis of the political ethics thought of Shang Yang.This part mainly introduces the era in which Shang Yang was living,the experience of Shang Yang himself,and the content of “the book of Lord shang”.He also analyzed the views of human nature,history,and the rule of law as the theoretical basis.The third part: It is the look on Shang Yang's political ethic thoughts.This part consists of the ethical orientations of putting higher value on law,being respectful for the sovereign and stressing the value of aggravating punishment,the ethical analysis of centralization,and the moral requirement of the political ethical subject.The fourth part: The implementation of Shang Yang's political ethic thoughts.The fifth part: This part is mainly about the contemporary value of Shang Yang's political ethics thought that the essence of his political ethic thought in history becomes the origin of socialist political ethic thought and system mechanism.
