The Contemporary Construction Of Rural Filial Piety Culture In Guizhou

Filial piety is one of the essence of the long-term crystallization of traditional Chinese culture,which has been guiding the human moral values,social norms and ethical order in the process of human civilization and social development.Since the twentieth century,social and political patterns in the the similar structure of family and country are gradually disintegrating,causing Chinese rural areas to witness filial piety crisis,featuring filial piety anomie.This paper takes Guizhou Province as an example,which exports the largest number of migrant workers in China.The paper mainly focuses on the analysis of the contemporary efforts to revive filial piety in Guizhou's rural areas,against the backdrop of the implementation of the “Yangui Xinggui” policy(attracting migrants back to Guizhou to start business or seek jobs).From the perspective of ideology,politics and employment,the paper analyses how does exporting large number of migrant workers impact filial piety in rural areas,under the development of new countryside in Guizhou.The paper tries to figure out new ways to reconstruct filial piety in Guizhou's rural areas by attracting migrants back home,and explores how to achieve rural economic development while maintaining the inheritance and development of traditional filial piety culture in rural areas at the same time.This paper is divided into five parts.It researches on and analyses the way Guizhou rural filial piety culture was built and improved;further explores the relationship between migrant workers and the development of rural filial piety culture;and discusses how to encourage migrant workers to start business and seek jobs back home,and thus to provide possibilities for the building and inheritance of filial piety in Guizhou's rural areas.The first part includes: reasons for choosing this topic,relevant research at home and abroad,the research methods and ideas used in this paper,the contents and innovation of the research,and a brief introduction of the purpose of the arguments and the background of this paper.The second part includes: a summary and analysis on the weakening of Guizhou's rural filial piety culture in the new era,an analysis on the deteriorating the lack of culture of filial piety in the contemporary rural areas in Guizhou and the reasons behind the fading rural filial piety,and an elaboration of the essential necessity of filial piety culture.The third part includes: a research on the current situation of Guizhou's migrant workers and a comparison between migrants staying at home and working outside on their ability to fulfill filial piety;an analysis on the close tie between migrant workers' own development and the development of the local filial piety culture;and an elaboration of the impact of migrants returning back home on rural filial piety culture.The fourth part includes: the reconstruction of filial piety culture in Guizhou's rural areas through “Yangui” policy;an analysis on the tie between “Yangui” policy and the inheritance and development of filial piety culture in Guizhou's rural areas,which are interdependent and mutually reinforcing;an analysis on the feasibility of new development path for Guizhou's rural filial piety culture and its support for rural filial piety inheritance and development in the new era,during the implementation of the “Yangui Xinggui” policy.The fifth part includes: an elaboration of the possibilities provided by “Yangui” policy to rebuild Guizhou's rural filial piety culture;an analysis on exploring the path to build Guizhou's contemporary rural filial piety culture during the “Yangui Xinggui” policy's implementation process;suggestions made from the prospective of ideology,politics and employment on building Guizhou's contemporary rural filial piety,building a comprehensive well-off society in Guizhou in a better and faster manner,pushing Guizhou out of “economic lowland”,and making Guizhou a “spirit highland”.
