Research On The Protection Of Women's Human Rights Under The UN Framework

Women's rights are an integral part of human rights,and the protection of women's rights is also one of the tasks of modern human rights.However,in the early years because of the influence of history,tradition and culture,women's rights protection was unsatisfactory.In a long historical time,women ever be treated as second-class citizen,can not enjoy equal rights with men,in unequal social status,and is excluded from the main body of human rights.However,women constitute half of the world's population,women are the creators of human production,they are responsible for the continuation of human responsibility,and they are the strong productive forces to the progress and civilization of human.Without women's participation in the development of society,the society can not make development and progress.With the development of the economy,the progress of society and the development of human rights in the world have promoted the awakening of women's consciousness.More and more women are aware of their unequal treatment and are seeking to pursue their own legitimate equality as a citizen's right.The awakening of women's consciousness has promoted the formation and development of the women's movement in the international community.Women's human rights protection issues step into the international stage,the world's women's human rights protection work also came into being.The United Nations,as the world's largest intergovernmental international organization,plays an important and inrreplaceable role in the protection of women's human rights.In order to promote the protection of women's human rights better,the United Nations has adopted a series of corresponding documents,conventions and declarations on the protection of women's rights in the decades since it has been established;and the United Nations establish some relevant human rights safeguards bodies to urge Member States to make a good implementation of the relevant treaties,and make national supervision,testing and assessment.This article deals with a series of expositions of the United Nations protection of women's human rights,examines the role of the United Nations in the protection of women's human rights and makes a more substantial assessment of the role played by the United Nations.
