Research On The Influence Of Network Public Opinion Supervision On Judicial Justice

The influence of the Internet public opinion supervision on judicial justice has both positive and negative aspects.The positive side is mainly manifested in its role in safeguarding the independence,openness,transparency,and citizens' right to information.The negative influence is mainly reflected in the improper supervision of Internet public opinions that will affect the neutrality of judges in hearing cases and reduce the credibility of the judiciary.Hamper the smooth conduct of investigations.The reason why Internet public opinion has a negative impact on judicial justice is that there are mainly three reasons: First,there are problems in the judicial field itself,such as judicial corruption is still severe,judicial independence is not implemented,and the overall quality of judicial personnel needs to be improved;Second,there are some problems in the supervision of Internet public opinion itself,such as the low professional skills of some online media,and the weak awareness of legal norms of Internet users.Third,differences in the inherent attributes of the two,such as the value concept of the pursuit of fairness and justice are different,rights and power conflicts,etc.In order to ensure the promotion of judicial supervision by Internet public opinion and avoid its negative impact,the author believes that it is necessary to achieve the goal by establishing the mechanism of responding quickly on major cases,strengthening credibility of the judicial system,improving the quality of judicial person,improving Internet laws and regulations and promoting self-disciplined among Internet users and media.
